Junior Golf Programs

2019 Summer Junior Golf Camp

The Omni Tucson National Resort is pleased to announce the 2019 summer junior golf camp series. Through golf kids learn patience, focus, discipline and problem solving skills. The summer program will consist of a series of sessions, each lasting four days. Over the course of each week, children will establish the fundamentals of golf, engage in repetitive drills and exercises, learn sport etiquette and much more.

HELPFUL HINTS
Arrive on time. Bring sunscreen, hats, and water bottles. Proper attire is required — no denim. Having golf clubs is preferred.

Regular Price: $100 per child per camp session
Member Price: $80 per child, per camp session

PROFESSIONAL STAFF BIOGRAPHIES
DILLON MOLINAR | ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Currently a Class A PGA Professional
Dillon has been with Omni for two years and is a native Tucsonan. Not only does he have a tremendous passion playing competitive golf, he also loves teaching and growing the game of golf. In his free time, Dillon loves playing golf and basketball with his friends and family. 



JOE RIEKENA | ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Currently a Class A PGA Professional
Born and raised in Minnesota, Joe Attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he played on the golf team while also teaching golf and assisting with coaching duties. Joe’s Golf instruction career started at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, MN. A PGA member for over 20 years, Joe gained experience in teaching at facilities from South Carolina to California. Joe’s teaching philosophy is to keep things as simple as possible and focusing on his best to communicate with each student. Joe enjoys teaching golf at all levels, from juniors to low handicappers.








DAULTON ALTAMIRANO | ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL   
Currently a Level 1 PGA Apprentice
Daulton has been with Omni for the past three years after beginning his career in the golf business. Daulton started as a player service attendant and is now pursuing higher education through the PGM program. Daulton was born and raised in Arizona, splitting his 22 years between Tucson and Bullhead City. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends.






BEVAN MOODY | ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL   
Currently a Level 1 PGA Associate
Born and raised in Midland, Texas, Bevan attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. Following graduation, Bevan moved to Tucson to begin work on his Master’s Degree in Music Performance at the University of Arizona. While there, he began his golf career in 2018 and was promoted to Assistant Golf Professional with Omni Tucson National Resort. Strengths include: on course game management, mental focus, and properly striking the golf ball.
